The stage adaptation of "Clue" will run in Philadelphia from Jan. 20–25 at the Forrest Theatre.
A new week brings a fresh lineup of theater premieres, winter festivals and family-friendly events across Philadelphia.
The schedule gets started Tuesday when the classic mystery “Clue” opens its run at the Forrest Theatre, playing through Sunday. Theatergoers can also catch the opening of Pulitzer Prize winner James Ijames’ “Good Bones” at Arden Theatre Company beginning Thursday.
Friday offers after-hours adventure at Dinos After Dark at the Academy of Natural Sciences, an evening program designed for both kids and adults. The Villain Arts Tattoo Festival also opens Friday at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, running through Sunday with live tattooing, artist showcases and performances.
Saturday features the Philly Chocolate, Wine & Whiskey Festival at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, where attendees can sample sweets and spirits from regional vendors. The weekend also includes Ice on State: A Winter Weekend in Media, a two-day festival with skating, entertainment and seasonal activities. A new public artwork will also be unveiled Saturday as part of the 52 Weeks of Firsts series at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Throughout the week, visitors can explore newly opened exhibitions at the Philadelphia Art Museum, Magic Gardens Museum, the Pennsylvania Historical Society and the American Swedish Historical Museum.
