Shoppers search for the perfect gift at Christmas Village at LOVE Park.

Philadelphia's annual Christmas Village returns to City Hall, but not to its previous location.

The open-air German market, which comes to Center City each year with holiday-themed food vendors, shopping huts, live music and decorations, will leave LOVE Park for 2016 due to ongoing construction.

Christmas Village will set up at the City Hall Courtyard and Northern Apron. The market will open daily from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve, with a special preview weekend Nov. 19-20.

The market moved from City Hall to LOVE Park in 2011 for the construction of Dilworth Park, which now provides its own winter attractions, including an ice skating rink and a cafe that serves alcohol.
