Prosecutors: South Jersey duo promoted prostitution of girl

A man and woman, both from South Jersey, have been arrested for allegedly pimping out a minor.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday that Marcus E. Tukes, 47, of Bridgeton, and Courtney H. Glose, 31, of Brigantine, face charges of promoting the prostitution of a child, endangering the welfare of a child and conspiracy.

Tukes and Glose exploited a girl under the age of 18, according to prosecutors. Authorities said they took the girl into their protection two weeks ago.

The two were arrested at the Knight’s Inn in Absecon on Friday. They have been lodged at Atlantic County Justice Facility on $250,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
