Planning on attending Philadelphia's St. Patrick's Day Parade Sunday? There are a few things you should know ahead of time.
The parade, which is themed "St. Patrick, Protect and Guide Our Police Officers," got a new route this year and will begin at 15th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard at noon later turning right on 15th Street, around City Hall and down Market Street until reaching Penn's Landing. The parade is scheduled to end at 3 p.m.
Parking along the parade route will be prohibited at midnight, according to a tentative road closure schedule from the city's Office of Special Events. Streets will close at 11 a.m. but should reopen at 3 p.m. following the parade, according to the office.
Planning on driving in? The Philadelphia Parking Authority has also put out its guide on where to park for the event.
Fox29 will air the parade live for those not able to attend in person.
