Stickman Brews in Royersford creates "Eat Your Landlord" IPA inspired by Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty.

As the Philadelphia Flyers mount an improbable playoff push, fans can cheer them on with another special edition Gritty beer developed by Royersford's Stickman Brews.

The Montgomery County brewery announced this week they'll be releasing their new IPA, "Eat Your Landlord," to coincide with Saturday's Flyers-Penguins Stadium Series game at Lincoln Financial Field.

This isn't the first time a local brewery has paid homage to Philadelphia's new mascot.

Last September, shortly after Gritty made his monstrous debut, Bucks County's Broken Goblet Brewing released "Nightmare Fuel," a lightly hopped Cream Ale brewed with vanilla and “bruised and bloodied” oranges.

Then in November, South Philly's Brewery ARS released "Gritty Gruel," a stout hopped with cold brew coffee and brewed with donuts.

The Flyers and Penguins face off at 8 p.m. in South Philadelphia, with a first intermission performance by Keith Urban.

The "Eat Your Landlord" brew will debut the same day, selling at $16 for a four-pack at all three Stickman locations when they open at noon.
