Daniel is a Philadelphia-based writer who worked for PhillyVoice from January 2015 through July 2018. Before joining the website's editorial team, he served as an assistant producer for the Preston and Steve Show on 93.3 WMMR. He is a Temple graduate and an alumni of The Temple News and WHIP, the school's student-run radio station. Daniel is also very aware he shares the name of the actor who portrays James Bond and does not need to be reminded of that fact.

Bella Vista Neighbors Association and some South Philly natives of Italian heritage could not stop the demolition of opera singer Mario Lanza's childhood home. A developer has demolish the rowhome at 636 Christian St., where Lanza was born, and will construct in its place two buildings with seven apartments and 10 parking garage spaces. The entire proposal spans the lots of 630-638 Christian St.

The owners of Brewery ARS, located at 1927-29 W. Passyunk Ave, shared what happened to their business on social media Monday. The West Passyunk Neighbors Association said in a Facebook post it encourages residents with information on who committed the vandalism to contact 1st District Police.
