Two police officers shot, injured during July Fourth fireworks on Ben Franklin Parkway
Two police officers were shot and wounded near the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Monday night during the city's Fourth of July fireworks show, the finale of the Welcome America celebration. The officers were treated at Jefferson Hospital and released by early Tuesday morning. The shootings happened at 9:47 p.m. on the 2500 block of Spring Garden Street, which is near where the Spring Garden Bridge crosses the Schuylkill River.September 18, 2021

Video shows suspects sought in deadly beating of man outside Pat's Steaks
Cameras at Pat's Steaks in South Philly recorded the fatal beating of a 28-year-old man early Thursday morning. On Friday night, Philadelphia police released the footage and images of four men who homicide detectives say are suspects in the deadly attack. Authorities are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrests and convictions of the men who allegedly punched and kicked Isidro Cortez, 28, from Queens, New York, to death.February 24, 2021
