Before Joel Embiid was ruled out for the season, he shot a commercial that apparently had nothing to do with Shirley Temples.
And pretty much like everything that Embiid does, the ad fully embraces the criticism and pokes fun of how long the 23-year-old center has been an NBA rookie. Unfortunately, there were no "Trust the process" lines in the commercial. Watch it here:

Over at Liberty Ballers, Jake Pavorsky got to sit down with Embiid for a one-on-one interview during the commercial shoot. You never know, this could be the start of a beautiful partnership. Think about it: Michael Jordan and McDonald's, Tiger Woods and Buick, and now finally, Joel Embiid and Jolly Rancher.
