Friday is no longer the workweek favorite. Center City District (CCD) Sips returns on June 1 and that means Wednesdays become the best day of the week.
During Sips, nearly 100 bars and restaurants in the city will offer specials from 5-7 p.m. It's the perfect excuse to go out after work.
Through Sept. 28 find $5 cocktails, $4 wine, $3 beer and half-priced appetizers at participating Center City hot spots. Check out the full list of participants to see their exact specials.
A few popular places, year-after-year, are Independence Beer Garden, Chops Restaurant, Marathon 19th and Market, Pagano's Market & Bar, Sampan and Opa.
Expect returning sponsor 2 Gingers Whiskey to be featured in many cocktail specials.
