The Mars candy company is again partnering with the Gopuff delivery service for the M&M's Halloween Rescue Squad. The service, only available Thursday, Oct. 31, allows people nationwide to order free Mars-brand goodies and receive them in about 30 minutes. This year, Mars is also unveiling a pop-up 'BOOth' in South Philly's Columbus Square Park that will provide free candy to those who need to restock.

Four charged for roles in fatal shooting of Cumberland County detective

Four people have been arrested and charged for their alleged roles in the fatal shooting of Sgt. Monica Mosley, a Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office detective, on Oct. 15 during a break-in at her house in Bridgeton. The people charged include Nyshawn Mutcherson, 29, of Vineland; Jarred Brown, 31, of Bridgeton; Richard B. Hawkins Willis, 32, of Gloucester City; and Cyndia E. Pimentel, 38, of Paulsboro.

A person allegedly called the Montgomery County Republican Committee Office, which is located in Blue Bell, on Saturday and threatened to bomb it, authorities say.

SEPTA union workers vote to authorize strike unless they can reach deal with management

SEPTA workers in the Transport Workers Union Local 234, the largest workers' union for SEPTA, have voted to authorize a strike unless they can reach a deal with management by Thursday, Nov. 7. Union members met Sunday to vote, and the vote was unanimous in favor of a strike. The workers' main concerns are safety and security issues, but they are also fighting for more pay.

Costco has issued a recall on Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon products due to potential listeria contamination. The affected products were sold between Oct. 9 and Oct. 13. Costco also issued recalls for chicken products earlier this month. Costco is also recalling Rana Chicken Truffle Carbonara, and Tagliatelle Grilled White Chicken & Portabello Mushroom Sauce for possible listeria contamination.
