Barnes Foundation hosting block party, offering free admission

Enjoy food trucks, beer and art

The Barnes Foundation is throwing a block party on Sunday, June 3, sponsored by Target.

Attendees can enjoy tunes from DJ Rich Medina, bites from local food trucks and a Dock Street beer garden outside, then can head into the museum to view the Barnes collection for free.

Inside the Barnes are masterpieces by Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso and more famous artists.

Brooklyn-based artist Olek will also be on-site to crochet her upcoming mural in partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia. 

The block party will take place after-hours, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
