A spring block party in Northern Liberties will bring together local vendors, fitness classes and food and drink offerings for a full day of activities later this month.

The In Bloom Block Party is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Piazza Courtyard. The event is free to attend and open to all ages.

Hosted by Piazza Alta and the Northern Liberties Farmers Market, the event will highlight vendors from the neighborhood’s weekly market along with local growers and artisans.

A mix of vendors will be set up throughout the courtyard, offering items like vintage clothing, skincare products, candles and other handmade goods. Attendees also can build their own bouquets and shop from farm vendors, bakeries and specialty food sellers.

A lineup of wellness and fitness activities includes Pilates classes, a yoga class and cold plunges. Dance lessons also are scheduled, including salsa sessions set to Bad Bunny and a waltz class featuring Bridgerton-style music.

Additional activities include games like pickleball, cornhole and giant Jenga, along with family-friendly options such as face painting, balloon twisting, temporary tattoos and craft stations. A bubble performer, hula hoop classes and Mathnasium activities also are planned.

Food and drink will be available throughout the event. Options include food trucks, bakeries and specialty food vendors, along with a wine and beer garden featuring participants like Wissahickon Brewery, Hilltop Haven Winery and Red Brick Winery.
