More than 32,000 Pennsylvania residents have registered to vote using the state's new website that launched in August 2015.

There's a presidential election on Nov. 8 and a heated U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania. Now you can stop putting off registering to vote if you still haven't done so.

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has announced the launch of the "Send a Text, Register 2 Vote" program.

Eligible Pennsylvania citizens can simply text the word “PA” to “2Vote” (28683) on their smartphones to automatically receive a link that provides direct access to the online voter registration application, voter registration status, polling place locator and a link to contacts for county offices and the Department of State.

Approximately 2 million eligible Pennsylvanians still aren't registered to vote, according to state and federal statistics. They have until Oct. 11 to do so or they'll sacrifice their say in the election.

This is about as easy as democracy gets.
