Philadelphia snags No. 1 spot on 'Best Cities for Trick-or-Treating' list

Plan on trick-or-treating this year? You're in the right city to for it.

Zillow, a real estate company, ranked Philadelphia as the No. 1 city in the entire country for the Halloween tradition. Twenty were included on the list.

The company's researchers took a look at home values – the median value in Philly is $129,100 – as well as how close homes are to one another, crime rate and how many children make up the city's population.

Philadelphia was also the only East Coast city to make the survey's Top 10.

San Jose, San Francisco, Milwaukee and Los Angeles all trailed behind Philly.

Zillow also ranked the top five best neighborhoods to trick-or-treat in within each city. In Philly, Cobbs Creek snagged the top spot followed by Frankford, Logan, Germantown East and Fairmount.

The company's algorithm determines where kids can be safest but also get the most amount of candy in the least amount of time.
