Fans take in a game at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies are offering fans eager to check out youngsters like Maikel Franco and Aaron Nola an extended stay at Citizens Bank Park this April.

By purchasing a "Spring Pass," fans can get into nearly every Phillies game in April for $50 – a total that falls beneath the ticket price of many lower-level seats.

The Spring Pass excludes the April 11 home opener, but covers the next 12 home contests. Those games include series against the San Diego Padres, Washington Nationals, New York Mets and Cleveland Indians.

Depending on one's point of view, the promotion serves as either a cheap opportunity to get an early look at some of the team's future stars or as a stark reminder of how far the team has fallen. After all, it wasn't that long ago that the Phillies had a 257-game sellout streak.

Here's how the promotion works:

All tickets are digitally delivered to fans' mobile devices via the free MLB.com Ballpark app. They will appear as Standing Room Only Tickets, but 15 minutes before each game, fans will receive a text message assigning them to a reserved seating location.

Seating locations will include the Terrace, Terrace Deck, Pavilion, Pavilion Deck and Outfield.

Fans wishing to sit with family and friends should purchase all of their Spring Passes in the same transaction. Fans can buy up to six Spring Passes.

Spring Pass tickets cannot be forwarded to others.
