Beats 'n' Eats: Listen to live music while celebrity chefs cook

The fundraising event benefits Philabundance and the Philadelphia Music Alliance

A new fundraising event will take place at The Fillmore on Sept. 19. Beats 'n' Eats, hosted by celebrity chef Robert Irvine of "Restaurant Impossible" fame, combines live music and a seven-course meal.

Attendees can sit back and enjoy the show while seven celebrity chefs each prepare dishes for the event. Irvine will be joined by Morimoto ("Iron Chef"), Marc Vetri (Vetri Family restaurants), Buddy Valastro ("Cake Boss"), Kevin Sbraga ("Top Chef"), Daniel Stern (R2L) and Brian Duffy ("Bar Rescue").

Between courses, there will be performances by emerging artists and established Philly musicians.

Proceeds from the event benefit Philabundance and the Philadelphia Music Alliance.

Tickets begin at $150 per person for the dinner, show, after-party access and complimentary parking.
