Police arrested a Camden man on Friday who was accused of murdering his mother, NBC 10 reports.
Police say that 22-year-old Pedro Mercado shot and killed his mother Iris Sanchez inside a Camden home on Friday afternoon.
Within a few hours, officers found the suspect and arrested him.
Sanchez, 38, was also a grandmother. A relative told 6 ABC that she and her son "have always been on rocky terms," but the motive of the shooting is still unknown.
