A Camden city man was gunned down in broad daylight Saturday afternoon.
Corey Morton, 24, was found lying in an alley between two buildings on the 700 block of S. 8th Street around 4 p.m.
Camden County Police were alerted by the ShotSpotter system to gunfire in the area of the 700 block of S. 8th Street in Camden.
He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 4:41 p.m.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
