James Beard Award 2015 finalists were announced Tuesday, March 24.
The James Beard Foundation announced the finalists for the 2015 James Beard Awards at the James Beard House in New York City on Tuesday, and a number of local restaurants and chefs are among the nominees.
The Book, Broadcast and Journalism Award winners will be announced on April 24 at New York City's Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers. The winners in the chefs and restaurant categories will be announced on May 4 at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago.
Here are Philadelphia's local nominees:
