Children invited to read to therapy dogs at Fishtown library

The event helps children improve their reading skills

Children of all reading levels are invited to the Fishtown Community Branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia on March 23 to read to therapy dogs.

The idea is that children will boost their reading skills and the dogs will get a fun day out. The event is part of the Fishtown Neighbors Association's Paws & Books series

Those who can't make the March 23 date can head to the Fishtown library every other Wednesday at 4 p.m. to read with the therapy dogs.
