La Peg to host a party featuring boxed wine.

Boxed wine, which is typically cheaper than a bottle and contains about four times as much wine as a bottle, will finally have its moment in the sun.

La Peg will host a boxed wine party in its beer garden on Thursday, June 15, from 5:30-10:30 p.m. The party will also feature DJ Dame Luz spinning a majority of Wu-Tang Clan hits – just because.

Boxed wine fans can find a new variety to love, and those who haven't (yet) seen the benefits of boxed wine over bottled wine might change their mind on the subject.

“We take wine seriously, but we also like to have fun. With so many great boxes now available, we thought this would be a great way to enjoy them,” said Brad Histand, general manager at La Peg.

The wine lineup is below. Each glass will be $4.

La Petite Frog - Picpoul de Pinet from France
Big House - Pinot Noir from California
René Barbier - Mediterranean white blend from Spain
Vin Vault - Chardonnay from California
Naked Grape - Moscato from California
Folonari - Pinot Grigio from Italy
Fisheye - Shiraz from Australia
Vidorra - Red sangria from Spain
Hacienda - Rosé blend from California
Bota Box - Sauvignon Blanc from California

Sorry, Franzia fans. The college staple didn't make the cut.
