Little Nonna's special cannoli for National Cannoli Day.
In celebration of National Cannoli Day, which is apparently Tuesday, June 16, Little Nonna's has a special treat planned. The Marcie Turney-Valerie Safran Italian joint is dishing out cannoli for pickup starting at 10 a.m. until sellout for $3 each.
Super cannoli fans can pre-order boxes of eight ahead of time for $20. The boxes will contain two of each of the four flavors being released. "Funfetti" will have traditional ricotta filling and rainbow sprinkles; "Tiramisu" includes espresso mascarpone filling; "Peanut Butter & Jelly" has peanut butter ricotta filling, strawberry jam and pretzel; and "Hazelnut-Bourbon" includes ricotta filling and cacao nibs.
