A Montgomery County man has been charged with having and distributing child pornography that showed children as young as three years old, authorities announced Tuesday.

According to prosecutors, Hatboro police seized a computer from Pablo Rodriguez on Sept. 8 that contained more than 1,500 images and videos.

Those images and videos allegedly portrayed children being sexually abused, engaging in sexual activity and showing their genitalia, authorities said.

Rodriguez also allegedly emailed the pornography to other people.

He has been charged with multiple counts of sexually abusing children for possessing and disseminating child pornography, as well as related counts.

Rodriguez was jailed on $100,000 bail and was ordered not to contact children younger than 18 or access the Internet.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 28.
