A 42-year-old man was fatally crushed Tuesday by 2,000 pounds of garbage at a waste management site in Northeast Philadelphia.
According to 6abc.com, the incident occurred just before 8:30 a.m. at the Waste Management facility in Holmesburg section of the city.
There is no word yet on the identity of the victim or the cause of the incident.
An investigation is underway.
