New Sausage Fest Philly combines beer and sausage dishes

Full-size servings will be available

The team that brought the popular Bacon and Beer Festival to Philly is now bringing Sausage Fest to the city on Sunday, May 22. Head to the 23rd Street Armory from noon to 6 p.m. for an all-day sausage and beer party.

At this festival, the beers and dishes from local breweries, vendors and restaurants will be full servings instead of sample sizes. Attendees will need to pay for each brew and dish through the event. Prices will range from $5-$10.

Confirmed food options include sausage selections from Undrgrnd Donuts, The Flying Deutschman, Maglio Sausage Company, Delicious Dishes, Break Time and Samosa Deb. Drink options include St. Benjamin beers, Victory beers and Barefoot Wines.

Advance general admission tickets are $15 and include a commemorative pint glass and first drink token, while VIP tickets are $35 and include two drink tokens, a T-shirt (with dancing sausages on it) and the commemorative glass. Tickets will also be available at the door for $10 and only include entry.

Proceeds from the festival benefit the Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus.
