The New Hope and Ivyland Railroad gets a holiday makeover.
The beloved classic "The Polar Express" is a holiday favorite for many families, whether they read the Van Allsburg book, watch the 2004 movie or both. This holiday, the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad is creating its own holiday express to give children a chance to meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
Children and adults of all ages are invited to ride the special holiday train, sip hot cocoa and enjoy cookies while Santa visits with each child and presents them with a special gift. Local musicians will also be onboard to play and sing Christmas carols for all. The roundtrip ride lasts an hour and a half.
Children are encouraged to come dressed in pajamas as well.
