Crews were working to clean up a portion of South Street early Friday morning after a water main broke in South Philadelphia Thursday night, 6ABC reports.
Water began flowing around 11:15 p.m. on the 500 block of South St.
Police and water crews worked to shut off the water and block traffic.
As a result of the break, South Street was closed at the intersection of Fifth Street.
Drivers should seek alternate routes.
