The Philadelphia Police Department is currently searching for 16-year-old Hasheem Singletary, a prisoner who escaped from private contractors transporting him from Florida to Philadelphia.
According to police, Singletary was last seen near the corner of 56th and Osage streets in West Philadelphia after escaping around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday evening. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black knee length shorts with a stripe on the side, white socks, and blue slip on sneakers with white soles.
Singletary is wanted by the Philadelphia Police for 3 gunpoint robberies. Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to contact the Southwest Detective Division at 215-686-3183/3184 or call 911.
