In a major bombshell, Chip Kelly is now head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. Jeffrey Lurie sure didn’t take to Twitter to announce his hiring three years ago.
After a thorough search, Trent & I are thrilled to announce Chip Kelly as the new #HeadCoach of the @49ers

With the Eagles still searching for Kelly’s replacement, I feel like this song captures the state of the average Philadelphia sports fan at the moment:
A couple of hours later, everybody is still talking about Kelly’s move to the Bay Area. Who cares what the rest of the country thinks, though? Here is a sampling of how Philly (media and some fans) reacted on Twitter:
