Philadelphia police arrest, charge woman in street fight stabbing

Victim suffered multiple stab wounds to chest and face

Philadelphia police have arrested and charged a women in connection to a stabbing that took place during a street fight on Saturday night.

Authorities say 53-year-old Mildred Stoner got into a fight with a 38-year-old woman on the 2300 block of North 20th Street around 2 a.m, NBC 10 reports. After the fight continued into a nearby home, police say the 38-year-old woman struggled outside and was suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest and face.

The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital and listed in critical condition.

Stoner was arrested and is being charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, simple assault, and related offenses.
