A woman was found dead Thursday inside a Bucks County home and police are questioning a man who claims to be her son and killed her.
The Lower Makefield Police Department said the incident began around 3 p.m. when the suspect was walking along the 200 block of Taylorsville Road.
According to authorities, a 30-year-old man was partially clad and appeared to have been in an altercation. He stopped a passing motorist and told the driver he had killed his mother. The man indicated the killing occurred on the unit block of Lower Hilltop Road.
Officers responded to the residence and discovered the woman, who was pronounced dead. Investigators have yet to determine a cause of death.
The man was taken to police headquarters for questioning.
The identities of the suspect and the victim have not been disclosed as an investigation is ongoing.
