Should SEPTA split Route 23 into two lines to better deal with the high number of riders? Should Route 53 be extended?

SEPTA invited the public to discuss these questions and other potential service changes during two open houses scheduled for Tuesday.

A number of proposals ranging from route changes to ideas about how to enhance the customer experience will be discussed. The public's feedback from the open houses will be considered when the agency develops a plan for their upcoming budget cycle, SEPTA said in a press release.

The sessions, formally called the Fiscal Year 2016 Annual Service Plan Open House, will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday and later that evening between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. The meetings are to take place in the boardroom of the agency’s headquarters at 1234 Market Street.

Public hearings on the plan will take place in the spring.
