This building at 4th and Fitzwater in South Philly will likely be turned into a first-floor restaurant.

A new restaurant from the mind behind South Philly Tap room appears to be coming to Queen Village, Passayunk Post reported.

The empty space at 743 S. 4th St. on Fabric Row has a telling orange sticker in the window: a liquor license registered to WT Restaurant Holdings, LLC, of which SPT and American Sardine Bar chef Scott Schroeder is listed as an owner. WT Restaurant Holdings was incorporated only in September. Schroeder declined to give details on the new project, citing neighborhood clearance as a first priority.

A permit issued Dec. 4 to YCH Architect describes a “sit-down restaurant on the first floor.”

Philly Eater reported Schroeder's friend, pastry chef Patrick O'Malley, is also listed on the license.

Schroeder and O'Malley collaborated as part of a multi-chef Farmhouse Ale dinner hosted at SPT in 20092010 and 2011, along with chefs Nick Macri of La Divisa Meats, Gene Giuffi of Cochon and Square Pie and Sheri Waide of Southwark.
