Two officers injured after suspect's vehicle T-bones police SUV in West Philly

Two Philadelphia police officers were injured Thursday night after a suspect's vehicle T-boned their SUV in West Philadelphia, NBC10 reports.

The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. at 59th and Master streets.

Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told NBC10 that officers had tried to pull over a Cadillac for having dark-tinted windows. The driver of the vehicle took off and ended up T-boning a police SUV a few blocks away, he said.

The police vehicle jumped the curb and struck a house as a result of the impact, police said.

Two officers were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The 23-year-old male driver of the Cadillac and his female passenger were also hospitalized.

What appeared to be marijuana was found in the suspect's vehicle, police said.
