Marc Vetri's namesake Italian restaurant has received another accolade. Time Out U.S. has named Vetri to the top of its "Best Italian restaurants in America" list.
They had this to say about the restaurant:
What can be said about Marc Vetri’s hall-of-fame flagship that hasn’t already been said? Well, at the time of this writing, the national restaurant industry was abuzz with the news that the illustrious chef-restaurateur had sold much of his empire to Urban Outfitters. So there’s that. But its cornerstone, Vetri, remains intact — and what a cornerstone it is.
The list includes stand-outs from all over the nation, from Colorado and California to Tennessee and New York.
This announcement comes a few weeks after Urban Outfitters announced it was buying the Vetri Family Group, which includes Amis Trattoria, Osteria, Pizzeria Vetri, Alla Spina and Lo Spiedo, but not Vetri.
