"Late Night" host Stephen Colbert sticks his head in a microwave while mocking comments Kellyanne Conway made while defending President Donald Trump's wiretapping claims.

"Late Show" host Stephen Colbert let Camden County native Kellyanne Conway have it on Monday for comments she made suggesting that a certain kitchen appliance could double as a spy tool.

Colbert, host of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," ripped into Conway, senior counselor to President Donald Trump, during his cold open Monday – taking his jokes to a new level by replacing one of the show's own cameras with a microwave.

Of course, Colbert's talking about the remarks Conway made to a NorthJersey.com reporter while defending Trump's unfounded claims that former President Barack Obama wiretapped his campaign prior to the election.

Conway said that someone could be surveilled through cellphones or TVs or even "microwaves that turn into cameras."

"It's true; it's true," Colbert joked. "Microwaves that turn into cameras. How do you think we filmed this show?"

After airing some additional clips that showed Conway explaining the comments – she got a lot of flak over the weekend – Colbert then walked over to the camera/microwave on set.

He grabbed a hot pocket and whispered, "By the way, President Obama, I miss you."
