Philadelphia police are seeking help identifying the individuals they say are responsible for a group beating of a man that occurred near Packer Park on Sept. 5.
Philadelphia police are seeking help identifying individuals they say are responsible for a group beating that occurred near Packer Park in South Philly on Sept. 5.
According to police, on that day at about 2:15 a.m., several white men can be seen on surveillance video congregating on the northwest corner of Hutchinson Street and Oregon Avenue.

At some point, the men see a commotion down the street and rush to get involved. According to police, the camera captures the suspects attacking a 28-year-old man as he walks on the 900 block of Oregon Ave.
Police said the victim sustained head injuries and was taken to Jefferson Hospital for treatment.
After the incident, the suspects fled into the 2600 block of S. Hutchinson St., police said.
