The Philadelphia Police are hoping to identify this woman, who police said, stole money raised in a book sale at a church in Northeast Philly.

Philadelphia police are hoping to identify a woman they say stole money Tuesday raised during a book sale at a church in Northeast Philadelphia. 

According to police, the woman, described as 25 to 30 years old and having long brown hair and wearing glasses, blue coat, gray shirt, and black pants, and carrying a dark colored pocketbook at the time of the alleged theft, came into Martha Church at 11320 Academy Road. 

At about 7:50 p.m., the woman was captured on surveillance video at the church and school trying several doors before accessing the building, police said.

According to police, the woman took an undisclosed amount of money.
