Beginning on Nov. 5, the two-day 2016 Philly Bike Expo will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. In the past seven years, the expo has grown from a small grass-roots event to the largest gathering of bicycle frame builders in the Northeast.
At the convention, a range of exhibitors will be showing off goods and services. More than 125 artisans, manufacturers and organizations will be present.
As for seminars, attendees can join discussions on topics like family biking basics and proper bike locking. Demonstrations include skills like wheel building and pinstriping. More hands-on activities include a yoga class tailored to cyclists.
What makes the Philly Bike Expo unique, however, is that guests can test bikes on the floor or join in a group bike ride before the expo starts.
Free indoor valet bike parking is provided in a ground-level room of the Convention Center.
Tickets start at $12 for a one-day pass. An all-access pass, which includes admission and seminars on both dates, starts at $30 per person. Children 12 and under can attend for free.
