On Wednesday morning, Philadelphia's Franklin Institute announced it would offer free admission to federal employees this weekend.
Now, another local science museum is offering a deal to those affected by the partial government shutdown, which started Dec. 22.

Admission to the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University is pay-what-you-wish for federal workers, plus four guests, through the end of the month, or until the government re-opens.
The longest government shutdown in U.S. history is 21 days. If the current one, which reached day 19 on Wednesday, lasts until Jan. 31, that would make a total of 41 days.
To get the admission deal, employees must show their government ID.
The Academy of Natural Sciences, located on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, was founded in 1812. Inside are dinosaur bones, live butterflies and dioramas of exotic wildlife.
The special exhibit "Xtreme Bugs" is on view through Monday, Jan. 21. On display are 20 massive, moving, mechanical insects.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. It's open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.
