Now in its third year, the Cinedelphia Film Festival returns April 9. Events and screenings continue for over two weeks through Saturday, April 25.

Created as the alternative film festival for the area, Cinedelphia is curated, rather than submitted to, by the director of Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art Eric Bresler. The schedule for the festival includes no overlapping programs, so those who want to attend all the events can easily do so.

The lineup includes everything from documentaries and features by local filmmakers to Belgian thrillers and "mega-bad" movies. Filmmakers and documentary subjects will be in attendance for certain screenings like "Vietnam Appreciation Day" about local war reenactors and "Rock School," about children learning rock music.

At the end of the festival Cinedelphia caps off with an eight-film "Best Worst Movie Marathon" featuring movies so bad they're kind of great. "The Skid-Kid," "White Cop" and "Troll 2" will be among the features and free food will be available.
