The future is finally here, and man is it bright.

On Wednesday, Wawa slowly began rolling out the mobile ordering feature on its app. So now, select Wawa Rewards members can get their made-to-order hoagies – and basically any other menu item normally available on the touch screens at stores – into their stomachs that much faster.

Lori Bruce, a spokesperson for the convenience store chain, said Thursday that during the test phase mobile ordering is mostly being offered to rewards program users who have shopped in Wawas in Delaware County. Customers who shop in Wawas in parts of Chester and Montgomery counties also have been included in the rollout.

Bruce could not confirm just how many people can use the feature, but the Internet is already freaking out:

The company, which released the app in July 2015, announced the feature to a select few Thursday through email and a mobile push notifications. The app is free to download through the Apple App Store and Google  Play.

So how does it work? After selecting a store to place the order, it's got a familiar feel to using one of the in-store touch screens.

Look, we've even made a step-by-step guide.

/

STEP 1:

In the app, look at the icons at the bottom of the screen. If the third icon is a fork and spoon, you're been selected for the mobile ordering rollout.

/

STEP 2:

Select the category of item you'd like.

/

STEP 3:

Make your choice of item.

/

STEP 4:

If you chose sandwich, you next will get Wawa's standard list of sandwiches from which to choose.

/

STEP 5:

Further customize your order.

/

STEP 6:

Select the size of your sandwich, its bread and toppings.

/

STEP 7:

Add extras.

/

STEP 8:

Press complete my order and head the Wawa store you selected to pick up your food.

You pay when you get to the store. It's as easy as that.
