Authorities believe they have solved a recent double homicide in Camden.
James Peterson, 32, was arraigned late Thursday on two counts of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of 50-year-old Richard Lincoln and 33-year-old Angel Martinez, both of Camden.
On April 14, Camden County Police responded at about 9:50 a.m. to the 500 block of South Eighth Street in response to a 911 call for a man shot.
Officers located two men with gunshot wounds inside the house. They were pronounced dead at the scene at 10:03 a.m.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Peterson had been evicted from the building the day before, and he is seen on surveillance video entering and leaving the building after being thrown out.
Peterson is held in the Camden County Jail on $2 million bail.
A spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, which is responsible for homicide investigations, said six of 12 murders in the city have been solved in 2016.
