Basil Vinaigrette

Ingredients:
• shallot, sliced
• ½ cup of basil leaves
• ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil
• 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
• 2 teaspoons of honey
• 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard
• ¼ teaspoon of sea salt
• ½ teaspoon of black pepper

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth
  2. Refrigerate, airtight container, up to 5 days

Note: Vinaigrette may discolor but is still good
