Montco grad booted from college baseball team for Mo'ne Davis tweet

A former Methacton High School baseball star has been kicked off the Bloomsburg University baseball team for an offensive tweet about Little League star Mo'ne Davis, Sports Illustrated reports.  

The university announced the dismissal of junior Joey Casselberry, who grew up in Eagleville, Montgomery County, in a series of tweets on Saturday evening:

It is not clear when Casselberry posted the tweet. 

The Bloomsburg baseball media guide shows the 5-8, 230-pound first basemen had a career .305 batting average in 90 plate appearances.

Casselberry's Twitter account, @BigCass24, has since been deleted. Sports Illustrated took a screenshot of the tweet, which criticizes Disney's planned movie about Davis using an offensive word:
