A boy was killed Sunday night in a forklift accident in Northeast Philadelphia.
Police said the boy, 13, was driving the piece of heavy equipment when he lost control and crashed at the Newman Paper Co. at 6101 Tacony St. in Wissinoming, CBSPhilly reported.
The boy, who was not identified, died from his injuries, authorities said. It was not known why he was at the plant.
An investigation is continuing.
