Yards Brewing Co. has announced a date for this year's "brawls-to-the-wall beer ball." BrawlerFest 2016 will take place on Nov. 5, and early bird tickets are already available.
The event is equal parts beer festival, carnival and block party and takes place at 500 Spring Garden St.
The Yards beer Brawler will be highlighted. It's an English mild with almost no hop bitterness. Instead, there's a taste of caramel and toast in the brew.
Attendees can expect live music, food trucks, carnival games like ring toss, chances to win Eagles and Flyers tickets and special-edition Yards beers.
Tickets, only available for those 21-plus, begin at $45 per person ($20 for designated drivers).
Proceeds from carnival games benefit WXPN Musicians On Call, a program that brings live music to hospital patients. The event will take place rain or shine.
