As part of the #PhillyMash week-long event that began Saturday, Oct. 17, Brooklyn Brewery Chef Andrew Gerson is teaming up with local chefs for a day of food, beer and live music. Gerson, Chef Brad Spence of Amis and Chef Alex Buckner and Master Butcher Bryan Mayer of Local 215 Food Truck will come together for the "Three Headed Beast" meal Saturday, Oct. 24.

The sustainably-sourced meal will include a plate from each chef and a Brooklyn beer. The chefs will be using whole animals to create their plates, making a nose-to-tail dish and a matching side. Spence will prepare lamb, Buckner will prepare pig and Gerson will prepare goat.

Afterwards there will be plenty of Brooklyn beer flowing and live music to carry through the afternoon. They'll be pouring Brooklyn Lager, East IPA, Oktoberfest and Defender IPA. Proceeds from the feast go toward The Food Trust, too.
