On Fridays in August, catch a movie outside the Water Tower Recreation Center in Chestnut Hill at 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the evening movies, which are free to attend.
Aug. 12: "Creed"
Aug. 19: "Zootopia"
Aug. 26: "Star Wars: the Force Awakens"
Food trucks will be on site around 7 p.m. each week, for guests to grab dinner before the show.
If the weather doesn't cooperate, the movie will be shown at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (800 Cherokee Street).
