Concert Review: Quilt, The Dove & The Wolf and Mary Lattimore @ Fillmore Philly

Last Friday night, the Foundry (upstairs at the Fillmore) was wall-to-wall with gorgeous melodies.
Headliners Quilt
played behind their strong 2016 LP “Plaza.” Calm and intricate, the Boston band stitches together unique psychedelic sounds, with Anna Fox Rochinski, Shane Butler, Keven Lareau and John Andrews all
sharing the vocal burden.
The night began with France/Philly hybrid The Dove & The Wolf, led by Paloma Gil and Lou Hayat. They delivered a lush, heartfelt rock experience behind
their recently released EP "I Don’t Know What to Feel."
Sublime harpist Mary Lattimore brought her textured string palette to the ears of the rock crowd. To hear her combine her intricate harp skills with modern
looping technology is to be immersed in the possibilities of music.
